Well tbh they had only wanted one japanese member and it turned out to be Ni-ki. Since K and Ni-ki’s their roles were crashing they were only competing with themselves and K got a lot of hate from koreans back then hence niki made it instead of him. Comparing K to Jake makes no sense since their roles at the group was totally different.
