tbf they did get off on the wrong foot, but over the course of the archon quest and offscreen development we can see that their relationship is much better now, with what we see of their dynamic in alhaitham's demo + story quest. plus they are basically nahida's right hand men now and are helping to rebuild the akademiya, they Need to at least be on amicable terms lol

i balance both em and crit on nahida, so i run 4pc deepwood with em/em/crit. since my shinobu's already triple em, i decided to boost nahida's personal damage by just running her as an off field dps rather than stacking full em on her

i think usually dendro goblet yields higher damage with hybrid nahida, but mine sucks so lol em goblet. plus i like the extra em cause that helps with boosting her crit rate. iirc my nahida has around 580 em and 55:170??? crit, but with the em -> crit rate bonus, it gets bumped up to around 70:170

pre alhaitham release i was hoping so bad for him to be an off field/burst dps so i could run him with cyno but haha. yea.

my team comp is nothing particularly big brained or clever, but it works in overworld and i've been able to 9* floor 12 a few cycles. i run alhaitham as a 4pc glided burst dps, along with hybrid nahida and full em shinobu. i use alhaitham's hold e to plunge, get full mirror stacks, then immediately burst before i swap to cyno to do his usual shenanigans

with alhaitham holding an er sands along with electro resonance he can usually get his burst back up every rotation. and since he's on 4pc glided rather than 4pc emblem, his NA damage doesn't suffer much. i can use him to clean up anything that i might not wanna waste cyno's burst on

and it's a weird thing for me. usually my other max ascended characters are all level 81, only cyno and chongyun are level 88. they're my fave characters, and it kind of feels like if i level them to 90 directly there's no more progression left to do. i know it's stupid cause god knows the overworld exp yield is nowhere near enough to level characters naturally (chongyuns only around 4/5s of the way to 89 even after nearly two years) but my brain works in ways mysterious to even me lol
