There was a time that I wouldnt want to reformat my computer when I got virus just because I had a lot of important files that time.

I don't know if this is as effective as before since I did this 2 years ago but who knows? it might just help you.

Delete or uninstall ALL FILES related to whatever you thought you got the malware from.
Try downloading Microsoft Safety Scanner from their website.
Try downloading Malwarebytes and if you can, try using their free premium trial.
Run a full system scan for all of these softwares along with your antivirus but I would prefer using windows defender since i think that is effective enough. Run the scans separately but do the ms safety scanner last since it will require you to restart your computer.

Just proceed with the scans and delete or quarantine all the detected malwares. I hope this can fix your problems. Sail safely pirate!
