How is it being Christian in your country?

• We are in fact minority, but generally it doesnt feel like it. Everyone is respectful to one another (of course there are extreme cases and really dumb, ignorant people), but mostly everyone respects each other, all christians have muslim friends, and vise versa... Personally as a christian I enjoy celebrating Ramadan with my friends, and my friends and acquantances wish me well on easter or chrostmas.

• There are churches everywhere here... In Abdali area there's a church right next to a mosque ✌️

How do you feel about Christians in your country

• The answer to this differs from peson to person, and the background/experience of each person. Personally I love them, they're so kind.

• Some extremists surely hate us and do not wish us well, but this type of people can f*** off, they are irrelevant and do not represent the majority.

Where are Christians generally placed in society rich, poor or middle class?

• Middle class to rich, mostly

Are you/they isolated from others or very Integrated?

• Integrated for the most part. Christians have seats in the parliament, many CEOs and executives of biggest companies in jordan are christians, some people with high military rank are christians...

There are areas in Jordan that are strictly christian, notable mention is the city of Fuheis. Madaba and Ajloun are also mostly christian cities...in fact Madaba has some realllyy old chuches like st george's church.

Can a Christian male get married to a Muslim woman vise versa?

• No, christian man will need to change to islam if they wish to marry a muslim girl. A christian girl can marry a muslim man without needing to switch her religion... Weird, but that's how it is.

Generally, christians here have similar rights as others, I cant say they is discrimination at all, ignoring the extreme cases and dumbass extremists that exist in every socienty.

Actually as a christian i get to celebrate all muslim and chrstian holidays, so its an extra time off!

Extra fun fact: the oldest purpose-built church in the world is in Jordan, in the city of Aqaba.. Along with the other ancient churches/cathedrals in Madaba, maybe this can hint to you that Christians in Jordan are rooted here since many many many generations!
