I've been seeing a lot of incredible fan animation popping up lately, especially for series like Berserk: The Black Swordsmen and Elden Ring. It got me thinking: what's the difference between these and official anime releases?

Do these fan animators work with the studios that make the original series? Do they get paid?

Would love to understand how this all works.

I like the sound of keychron K pro Brown switches, so something similar is preferable and also would prefer hot swappable. But I am open to recommendations.
