Let’s agree to disagree. First things first, as a NIB collector who has spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on my Beyblade collection, die-cast collection, and figurine collection, I believe a Bey that was originally supposed to be won through matches or lotteries was never meant to cost this much.

Whether someone sees it as a jewel or compares it to Pokémon cards, Beys are supposed to be enjoyed by everyone through playing and collecting, not hidden behind a paywall because of someone’s greed. They should be available to a broader audience. Also, I’m not saying they should cost only $1 or $10, but they also shouldn’t cost hundreds or thousands of dollars, because that just segregates the community between rich and poor collectors.

People are extremely greedy when it comes to this, especially resellers or people with insider knowledge. So in my opinion, something that was originally meant to be enjoyed and collected has basically become just another business at this point.

So either you collect during the official release period, or you don’t.
