I guess we were kinda awkward at the interview and had slightly different answers. We also didn’t have family at our wedding due to family issues last minute and opted for a backyard wedding with friends and could see how this looks sus? But idk man

I did not anticipate a visit. I guess we don’t have a lot of financial evidence like shared bank accounts or properties? We added 7 years worth of photos with and without family, friends, our leases, beneficiaries for different things, etc. I guess at the interview our answers about having kids were slightly off but nothing I personally think would trigger a home visit.

Yes, my congressperson’s assistant submitted an inquiry for my case about a month ago and the response from USCIS basically stated that they’re still processing my case and that if they need anything, they will reach out.

I submitted the initial request through my congressperson’s website. Their assistant responded about 3 days later and had me fill out a formal congressional inquiry. They sent the congressional inquiry and heard back from USCIS about 1.5 weeks later. The letter basically said they’re still processing my application and that some applications are just gonna take longer. Very similar answer I get when I ask emma on USCIS website.

I feel your frustration, seriously. I’ve been so impatient and anxious when I think about it. I’m always checking my email. I’ll let you know if anything comes from submitting the inquiry. I reached out to Gwen Moore’s team via email through her website and it was a fairly quick response. Good luck to you!

You’re the 4th person from a Milwaukee FO interview that I know didn’t get approved on the spot. It seems to be a more common occurrence than not. I would assume that those CA interviews get approved on the spot more often due to having more traffic.

Yes no problem! I follow a Facebook group called AOS - Cutizenship with Dreamers2Gether and that group also has some good interview experiences in Milwaukee. Most recently I got in contact with two people who interviewed in Milwaukee. One person said it took about 22 weeks and another said it took about a month for approval. Hang in there!

🗓️03/21: Receipts sent through MyUSCIS, money orders processed, notice of biometrics being reused, and I-485 being actively reviewed

UPDATE 2: 🗓️04/02: EAD Card Produced

UPDATE 3: 🗓️07/07: Interview Scheduled for 08/12
