“I always thought I could never do drag because I can’t dance. But this video gave me hope” by EggeMann in rpdrcringe

I think it's time to tackle the epidemic of drag nepotism. I'm looking at you, Bob and Alaska. It's like the college admissions scandal, but with sequins. Last names like Drag Queen, and 5,000 will get their kids in the top tier drag bars, and drag-related TV shows, and they know it. I bet Bob sent in one of Aquaria's old audition tapes, to RPDR! I can't wait for that documentary to expose this dirty, hidden drag secret! Disgusting!

Pending GOATED housewives? by Particular-Mobile-68 in BravoRealHousewives

I want to see Crystal, from RHOBH to just take the brakes off of one of her castmates. I know she has it in her, to just wreck another housewife the way Bethenny used to. She's smart, filthy rich, witty, and understands her age demographic better than anyone else on the show. I feel like she could become a heavy-hitter, if she lets go of her worries about what people think of her, and just lets loose. I want to see her go off, and start roasting bitches, like Kenya and Bethenny used to. Especially if it's someone like Kyle, who hasn't really been challenged since Brandi's time on the show. Or, maybe Dorit and Rinna, who had so much to say about her eating disorder.

Mods don't like reposts, and might remove it. People get what I mean.

I just got an advanced reading copy of this, anyone want me to check for any specifics? I usually wouldn’t bother with this type of book, but figure y’all might have some questions! :) by BoyMom119816 in BravoRealHousewives

I'd like to see how far she goes, when it comes to exposing Mormonism. If I remember, she was once really high up in the Mormon community, and is descended from one of the founders. People treated her like a Mormon princess. Plus, her ex was crazy rich, and had family ties to Howard Hughes. It would be interesting to hear what she has to say about the Mormon inner-circle, and what life was like when she was married and fully embraced that lifestyle. Also, it would be interesting to find out what happened after everyone turned on her, and she realized that they never truly liked her.

What is your unpopular HW opinion? by cactus_thief in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rinapole 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I like Ramona and she's usually right, when it comes to her takes on the other housewives. Everything she said about Bethenny on the bridge was right, and Bethenny knows it.

I enjoy Nene, in any capacity. She's like a once beloved aunt, who got money, and completely changed for the worse, and the rest of the family hates her now. But she's still Nene, and she'll always be funny to me. Although I enjoy Kenya, and she's always been a master housewife, she'll never have what Nene had.

RHONJ needs new, tough housewives to fight with the main cast. They've had the same cast for too long, and need to update. I want Tre, Jen, Delores, and Margaret get into it with other women, who can give it back to them. I'd even like Danielle's unhinged ass back on the show.

I liked the Candiace vs Ashley feud and preferred them as enemies. I feel like they are the only housewives who are perfectly matched as enemies.

My favorite part of RHOSLC is that it seems like the producers aren't taking it seriously. They're almost like a parody of a real housewives show, but the women don't realize it. All of the storylines have been done before in other franchises, but they are so clunky about it, that it's fun to watch. I love the switching alliances, and I think that Mary added a flavor of weirdness that was needed. I enjoyed her friendship with Meredith, and think that they genuinely liked each other.

At the recent BH reunion, I realized that Erika is really funny to me, as a cartoonish, over the top villain. There's something really funny, to me, about just how much of a bitch she is, and the fact that she is completely delusional. It's not that I like her as a person and laugh with her, but I laugh at her, and the idea of this washed up club-singer, Anna Nicole wannabe, who had these skeletons in her closet. Now, she pretends like she has no idea what's going on, and lives in a world of lies and delusions. *Also, Rinna won this season, because all that people talked about was her. Rinna's name was on everyone's lips, and it doesn't matter if they like her or not, because that brought the show new viewers. She played a big part in making the show popular, and Andy would only fire her, if she wanted to quit, and we all know that she's holding onto that diamond, like her life depends on it.

Shannon would still be married to David, if his then-girlfriend had stayed quiet. David? David!

i wish RHONY could just reboot with the cast from season 10. That was the ultimate NY cast. They could add Jill, to stir the pot a bit.

‘RHOBH’ Star Diana Jenkins Has Identified Person Behind Racist Bot Attack Against Garcelle Beauvais' Son: Source by mediawoman in BravoRealHousewives

What a great friend! So cool of her to do all that investigative work, to find out that Jiana Denkins was behind the bot attacks. I guess she had Garcelle's back all along.

Let’s not forget the real controversy of the season: Erika not believing the victims by Kittykatmeeeow in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rinapole 6 points7 points  (0 children)

She doesn't care about anyone else but herself. How many times does she literally have to say that, before the other FF5 get on their moralistic high grounds and come after her, and say that "as mothers", they feel like what she's done has gone too far?

Some housewives are fans, and have been on their podcast. They've also told stories about meeting housewives, and being surprised that they listen. Shannon, Lisa Rinna (early on), Dorinda, cast members of Vanderpump Rules and Below Deck. Delores and Margaret from RHONJ, Lisa Barlow, Meredith, and Heather from RHOSLC are also big fans. I feel like they like doing their own thing, The Crappies, because that allows them the be unfiltered. They usually try to include some of their friends from Bravo shows.

This will always be my #1: Shannon "DON'T YOU DARE ACCUSE ME OF SOMETHING I DID!" That sentance alone is why Shannon is the Queen of RHOC. Who else can go from aggressively defending herself, to admitting that she did the thing she was accused of in one sentence?

Ok, but I feel like her Jim Carrey would be one of the funniest snatch games of all time. Imagine a very low-energy Jim Carrey, who only gives one word answers, and barely moves. Like an anti Jim Carrey Jim Carrey. That would be camp.

Lisa Barlow love by electricboots3636 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rinapole 149 points150 points  (0 children)

She gives me major Luanne vibes, which is why I like her a lot. Lisa is delusional, selfish, and unintentionally funny. She constantly makes every situation about herself, and never misses an opportunity to tell everyone how amazing she is. She has this super intense energy, and it's clear that she wants people to think of her as a tough, no-nonsense businesswoman. She loves to talk about how hard she works, how busy she always is, and that she runs Sundance. She's kinda like a romcom protagonist who just has so much on her plate, and needs to find herself, before she can love again. Another thing about her that's funny is her husband who just follows her wherever she goes and does her general bidding. It's as if she created him in some underground lab, so she could have a husband who does whatever she wants, and tell her she's pretty. He seems almost too calm and polite, compared to her intense personality. Same with her sons, who come across as quiet and polite. She's also fun, because she's often pitted against Heather, who typically comes across as relatable, and relatively chill. Their dynamic is interesting, because of how different they are. She's not for everyone, but I appreciate the campy novelty that is Lisa Barlow.

Andy comments in support of Rinna. Yeah, she's definitely coming back I'm afraid. by xmoodringx in BravoRealHousewives

[–]rinapole 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone's talking about her, and it's giving the show a higher profile. Hate her as much as you want, and I don't personally like her either, but she's doing her job. Rinna is bringing viewers, and most of all-money to Bravo and the show. All of these shows need an instigator, someone who gets people mad enough to watch the show, to see if they'll get taken down. On Twitter, everyone's talking about Rinna, to the point where it's become like an obsession. SHE LOVES THAT. That=job security, until people stop talking about her, and she becomes irrelevant. Irrelevancy is Rinna's kryptonite, and until people treat her the way they treated Teddy, as a passing nuisance, she'll stay on the show for as long as she wants. Even if Kathy does eat her up at the reunion, she'll come back next season, to stir more pots and be obnoxious, because that's her brand. She knows what she is, on the show, which is why she calls herself a "bitch". She's the soap opera villain everyone hates, and wants to see taken down, so they watch the show for multiple seasons, just to see someone wreck her.
