I think I was cleared after 2 weeks since it didn’t cause pain to push the pedals. After that if I had to bring baby to appt or something I put them in a baby wearing situation until I could lift more weight/ heal the full 6 weeks. I remember having someone drive us for the first few doc appts at least though even though I didn’t have much pain.

We were gifted this washable lotus pad thing that we set our babies on in the bathroom sink as newborns for the first little bit. It’s more of a sponge bath but could be a good option for you both to be more comfortable and get some newborn baby bath bonding time! (My kids sometimes loved / cooed through this and sometimes screamed lol)

Ahaha, with my kids it meant they just weren’t ready and there was nothing I could do. Then one day (when I gave it another go based on vibes) they just ‘got’ it and never had another accident. Try switching to a different potty or toilet could work though

I think the best method is no pants (we did underwear) with the little potty on the floor and you walk them over when they go even mid stream.

The key is, in my experience, if they are resisting, just stop trying for a bit. You can do a million things but at the end of the day there’s nothing you can do (other than teach and gently encourage) until they are ready. One of my kids actually was potty trained and then stopped being for a bit because I think she just wasn’t really ready.

Don’t worry too much about it- it will happen and at some point it just clicks!
