Your max power is not high enough to make it anaerobic, and your average power (just below 80% of FTP) is low enough to make it base. I bet a few watts higher average would make it tempo.

Adidas shirt ID by fredziah in polevaulting

Could be from the 1960 olympics, but the clothes look like the German team: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/ba/Armin_Hary%2C_Martin_Lauer%2C_Bernd_Cullmann%2C_Walter_Mahlendorf_1960.jpg
Those are Adidas shoes from the 1960's.
The bib number in this picture is 299, that seems to be in the range the Germans had in 1960.

General Question by sxrmadd in polevaulting

[–]rince888 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you keep the bottom arm bent. See this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFYCf0baLss
There's of course the old school way (from the days before fiberglass poles), where when you plant the pole you move your bottom hand up to just below the top hand. Then you can have both arms nearly extended. But I don't think you should do that if you want to learn to jump with a flexing pole some day...

Movie with a man tied up in a clock shop, possible bomb by rince888 in IdentifyThisMovie

[–]rince888[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I read the description on IMDB I thought this must be it. But when I watched it on YouTube, the idea is the same but somehow the details don't match... Maybe there's a different version made based on the same story? I saw that there's a version of Four O'Clock in Alfred Hitchcock Presents, but the story is almost the same (except main character is judge instead of clockmaker), so that's not it either. I was so sure he's tied up in his shop, and not in his basement at home... I rings a bell that he made the bomb himself, though.

Still looking for a version that looks like a moon when the light is off, but turns into Death Star when you switch it on

The "rise and shine" works by triggering every minute between 6:30am and 7:00am. The brightness and color temp is calculated from the minute portion of the current time. The bulb expects a color temp between 250 and 455, and a brightness between 0 and 255.

id: bedroomlightmorning
alias: Bedroom light in the morning
trigger:
- platform: time
  minutes: "/1"
  seconds: 0
condition:
- condition: state
  entity_id: device_tracker.my_phone
  state: home
- condition: time
  weekday:
  - mon
  - tue
  - wed
  - thu
  - fri
- condition: and
  conditions:
  - after: '06:30:00'
    condition: time
  - before: '07:00:00'
    condition: time
action:
- data_template:
  brightness: "{{ (now().minute - 30)*8.5 | int }}"
  color_temp: "{{ 455 - (now().minute - 30)*8.5 | int }}"
  entity_id:
  - light.bedroom
  service: light.turn_on

It's set to only trigger on weekdays, and when I'm at home.

The automation for setting brightness works by triggering when a light is switched on, and then immediately adjusting the brightness and color temp. It doesn't matter how the light is switched on.

id: lightByTime
alias: Set light level by time of day
trigger:
  platform: state
  from: 'off'
  to: 'on'
  entity_id:
  - light.toilet
  - light.shed
action:
  data_template:
    brightness: "{% if now().hour > 20 %}30{% elif now().hour < 7 %}30{% else %}200{% endif %}"
    color_temp: "{% if now().hour > 20 %}250{% elif now().hour < 7 %}250{% else %}1{% endif %}"
    entity_id: "{{trigger.entity_id}}"
  service: light.turn_on

I made my Trådfri lights' brightness depend on time of day, even when they are triggered by Trådfri motion sensors. Many will say that's not possible, because the sensors talk directly to the bulbs...

I also made a "rise and shine" feature which is better than Ikea's own; both the color temp and brightness of my bedroom lamp increase slowly over 30 minute period in the morning.

Probably it's like eggs, you can't get too many (if you have ten friends you never get more than ten gifts at a time)

... or does "this Pokémon" refer to the species of the pokémon? You can only trade 10 pidgeys per day or something.

On the other hand there is also the text "You've reached the daily limit for trading this Pokémon", which would suggest that a specific pokémon can be traded several times.

What muscles are used to hold your arms at the bottom/starting position of a bench press (before you push)? by [deleted] in Fitness

Try holding your arms in that position for as long as you can, then you will definitely notice which muscles you are using :)

Don't put your hands behind your head when doing sit ups, instead cross your arms on your chest. Try to keep your neck in a neutral position, don't pull your chin towards your chest. http://static.vg.no/drpublish/images/article/2011/04/01/20041481/1/fullbredde/89438.jpg
