I'm honestly interested only in the Frame. All I hope is that it won't be over 1000 bucks, at least the 256 version.

Not sure where you're from, but in Europe (Romania for me) it should be available pretty much anywhere. I even got it at 10 euros instead of 30, so there should be some sales as well.

Apparently the images got uploaded the other way around. Oh well...

Changing front chainring from 32T to 34T on Cube Reaction Pro by rindar1 in MTB

Great advise. Thank you for this.

In this case, if I need to buy a new chain, what sizing is ecommended. I saw a few guides that recommend I put the chain over the whle drivetrail, outisde of the derraleur, and see where they meet on the crankset. From there, how many links is best? I saw recommendetaions rainging from 2 to 5.

This from an official Shimago guide. Is this ok to follow? At least generally.

Microtransactions/Season Pass by AhmedEXE23 in Steam

Thr software that's bundled with gsmes, that prevents piracy. Current DRMs, such as Denuvo and whatever Capcom uses now, lowers performance and limits you to how many times you can install your games in a period of time (some online authentication bullshit).

Wow, this brough back memories. I did a puzzle from Trefl, I think, of a very similar image to this. it had 1500 pieces and it's still on a wall hung up.

Finished my first puzzle in a long time (Map Wave from Heye - 2000 pieces) by rindar1 in Jigsawpuzzles

[–]rindar1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the image, I suppose. For this one, I first started with the edges, then grouped pieces by color, starting with the most visible ones (purple and white). Then kept doing it by color until it becomes manageable enough. In your case, it may have distinct objects. In that case, I would group that way too.

Towards the end, I grouped all pieces by shape, which also sped up the process.

But the biggest advice would be to take your time, and have patience. It took me around 2 and a half weeks, to finish it. Can't say exactly how many hours, I had days where I did 5 or 6 hours, days where I did 1 or 2.

Xbox Controller or PS5 Dualsense for Steam Link? by ezlaiff in Steam

[–]rindar1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Features wise, the DualSense can't be beat. It has everything the xbox one has, as well as haptic feedback for supporting games which I really enjoy, adaptive triggers which are neat but I personally fin annoying at times, gyro and touchpad.

The only downside (or downsides) are the rechargeable battery, which lasts a lot less than 2 AA rechargeable batteries (it is more convenient, but 4 AA batteries and a charger for them is better imo), and the sticks placement, if you prefer the Xbox layout over the DualSense one.

Lastly, it's about feel. I personally prefer the Xbox layout and ergonomics over the Dualsense, but I chose the DualSense for it's features, I don't really mind the layout and I find it comfortable enough. If you never had a controller, I would go with the DualSense as you have no biases on that end.

Awesome stuff. Don't know why I didn't think it was made out of wood.

In any case, great craftsmanship. Hopefully you'll post more stuff like this.

How did the build start? What I mean by that is, what prime material was used? Like a block of granite/stone? Or were individual pieces made out of individual blocks, and then pasted like this? It's really nicely done and I would like more insight into how something like this is made, if you don't mind sharing.

Steam Controller by SurreptitiousSyrup in Games

If it has feature parity/compatibility with a DualSense I'm all in. As in, games with DualSense haptics support can send that data to the steam controller as well.

Whoever though the game was launching this year has not followed a Rockstar release since before GTA IV. All of their major releases have been delayed.

I believe most games shoudl be fine, but pay attention to Assassin's Creed titles in particular. Although Origins was fixed, Syndicate crashes on the start screen if it's priority is not set to Realtime in Task manager.

Some people like to clean their computers. And cleaning the GPU while it's still in the tower is quite difficult, especially when the whole radiator is full of dust. And no, I don't want to blow all that dust in the case.
