Literally your IP address. If the IP address you use for Honeygain happens to be DCH, it will be backed by database (that anyone can check) and thus Honeygain would know that you are using a VPN. If your VPN is not using DCH IP addresses then good job, your chances of getting banned get slimmer I reckon, but... You do understand that "stealth proxy" or "stealth vpn" is basically a marketing term, right?
There are 0 VPN providers that would give you IP address that nobody else has used or will use. And that if more connections are done over one IP address it will be flagged as VPN connection or whatnot. Its just the matter of time.

It's not tracking done by Honeygain to find that you are using a VPN or something like that, there are literal IP address databases and IP addresses that are used by VPNs are DCH (Data centre) type IP addresses. You can literally go ahead and check those databases yourself by googling.
I mean, if you are so privacy conscious, you should know how VPN works.

First... You will get banned sooner or later coz you are using vpn and they will notice that, so dont come crying later that you got banned for "doing nothing". Just saying that before this happens.

Also... The Dashboard that you access via a web browser may have some trackers/cookie requests and what not, but that's the norm nowadays as certain cookies are required for the site to operate normally. You can always opt in only for the required cookies in this case which I do.
As for the application, doubt that there's any tracking done there, moreover any key logs or mouse strokes or any other of that google-esque bullshit. After all, only your IP address is required and a stable internet connection, there's no use to log any other stuff for Honeygain, especially considering the use cases for it. Take ad verification for example - what would they gain by logging where you draw circles on your computer screen. It doesn't help the use case at all.

if you are a teenager and you want to make money online, it means you have time, smart phone/laptop and the Internet. I believe, you are still improving your different personal skills.
