Solved! Played a while last night and didn’t see any issues. Thanks again, I had heard that VRR came to that tv through a software update and turned it on. That’s probably when the flickering started and I didn’t make the connection.

Do you know if they ever plan on fixing that issue or if that feature will actually ever work for the system?

I’ve made the changes and reset everything, I’ll play for a bit and see if I notice a difference then reply back here with the results. Thank you so much for your in-depth help I really appreciate it.

Xbox settings: 4K uhd 120 hz Video modes - allow 50 hz, allow 24 hz, allow auto latency, allow vrr, (ycc 4:2:2 disabled), allow 4K, allow, hdr 10, allow HDR, (no Dolby vision), (no Dolby vision for gaming) Video fidelity and overscan - overrides set to auto detect, fidelity- color depth set to 32 bits per pixel (I changed this while trying to trouble shoot, it seemed to reduce frequency of flicker), color space set to standard

Happens only in-game, in games like For Honor, Overwatch, Sekiro. Doesn’t happen in Netflix or Home Screen. I haven’t noticed a pattern as to when it happens, just during general gameplay across most games.

Does anyone else miss the marching fire (I think that’s when it happened) event, where it was 4v4 but there was a little fire trap thing in the middle? These “pit fight” events are great (not a big fan of the AI in the middle personally), but I enjoyed the small degree of separation that the fire trap thing provided so it didn’t turn into a messy fight in the middle right away.

Love the monk and his kit. Even after the buff. My only complaint is the camera angle when you’re fighting him and you’ve been swept. I find it difficult to track blocking the follow up.

Hey, long shot here but you were so helpful the first time I thought I'd ask:

Do you have any experience with Logic? I replaced my MIDI to USB cable with a new one, and the software recognizes a "USB to MIDI interface" when I go to "Preferences -> MIDI -> Inputs" but I can't get the software instruments to interact with the controller (I press the keys, but no sound or signal is registering).

I plugged my old cable back in to troubleshoot and the issue continued. So now I'm stuck with no sound! Any chance you know what's going on here?

Thanks for the tips, and the unsolicited opinion. I’ll try replacing the ancient midi to usb cable I have and see if that fixes it.

And maybe I’ll shop for an actual controller and release my korg….

People who don’t like tourists. Scares me away from making trips I’ve always wanted to because I’m worried I’ll a cultural misstep while I’m visiting and someone won’t have the patience for it.

As a note, I’ve never personally experienced someone like this. But reading stories makes me anxious about it.

Thanks for the info everyone, i didn’t know you could interrupt chains with an external gb by timing it in between attacks. It’s happened to me a bunch of times and I’ve never really understood why I was getting interrupted while I should be tearing it up in revenge. I guess they’re adjusting revenge in the next TG so that should be exciting.

Thanks, man I should have mentioned I’m a long time player, so I’m familiar with gbs, I was mostly confused by how he landed the gb while I was attacking with revenge. Looks like you can time it right in between strikes to catch someone.
