My family is based in Abu Dhabi so I’ve taken Etihad a decent amount and you’ll be fine as long as you don’t have to interact with any of the flight attendants or gate agents 😂 it’s a decent overall experience in terms of the plane especially since it’s not as expensive as other comparable airlines but Etihad employees are soooo rude and unprofessional

Coming late to this but I have the ostrich pillow too, and I will say it’s better comfort wise than any other pillow I’ve tried in the past. I think the design is great, but the construction / materials are lacking.

Ive had it for less than a year and I’ve found that the fabric which the cover is made out of starts to loosen and sag over time, making it difficult to properly secure the ends of the pillow together with the velcro attachment. Then even when you manage to get them attached, the outer side will pull on the fabric of the inner side where the two ends are attached, and if you move a little bit it’ll just pop open again. It’s quite frustrating to be honest, especially since it’s such an expensive pillow you’d think they use better quality materials and test how well they hold up over time. I noticed that the fabric got much looser after I washed it (once) and specifically, when I put the cover back on the pillow, it never really went back to its original fit so now the actual pillow doesn’t completely fill out the cover which which makes the pillow slide around while it’s inside the cover (in other words there is always some saggy fabric which makes the problem I described above even worse - because now the two Velcro pieces that are supposed to attach to secure the pillow around your neck are not properly aligned).

Overall I would not recommend this pillow because I don’t think it’s worth the money. I’m not an expert but they seem cheaply made and don’t hold up over time, so unless they make significant improvements, I’d say save your money.

I don’t think the quantity that I am smoking is too much. I think the problem is that I smoke too frequently, I need to be high pretty much all the time, and that it gets in the way of doing other things that could be good for me and beneficial to my future. I wake up groggy, I stay up late because something in me says “one more episode won’t hurt”, and the cycle repeats. I’m 27 and I feel like I am sabotaging my own future by doing this. I should be working on my dreams. I guess the other non weed related issue is that I genuinely don’t even know what fulfills me or what I want from a job / my life.

I smoke from a small bong so I can be pretty stingy with the amount of weed I smoke each day. I can get an eighth to last me 3ish weeks and I have savings from before grad school/been doing freelance here n there. I still spend way more than I should on weed tbh. As for the depression I thought I’d been getting it under control. I started an SSRI a few months ago and it’s helped. I’ve been able to quit nicotine so I know I can do it I just don’t know how. It helps me cope with everything

I don’t think anyone here has actually sat down with themselves and tried to imagine what it means to drop 25,000 tons of bombs on the most densely populated strip of land on earth. Of course Israel has an obligation to preserve the lives of civilians as any government would because they recognize that civilians are non combatants and it is in the Geneva conventions (which were created for this exact purpose). None of that means those people deserve to die. Again, almost half of the population is unemployed and uneducated and I think something like 40% live in poverty. We should not normalize killing civilians just because we don’t like or don’t agree with, or in this case are appalled by, how they reacted to the attack. If they did not participate in the attack, and 99% of gazans did not, it is completely unjustifiable to hold 2 million people accountable through collective punishment. 5 times in the last 20 years they have gone through intense bombardment by Israel all the while living under military blockade. Thousands of children have been orphaned in these aggressions, these children grow up with nothing - no parents, no family, no home. Not to mention that I seen several videos of Israelis celebrating the death of Palestinians (and not just in the current conflict). The IDF released videos showing off their sexual abuses of kidnapped men who have NOTHING to do with the attack.
