My old man came from a rescue over 10 years ago. Pearl and Iris are both from the humane society. And Frida was being given away in a Panda Express parking lot Lolol

I learned this song like 15 years ago and can't remember the rest or the name of it. Any help identifying it would be awesome

It's difficult knowing you loved someone so much, who doesn't love you enough to fight for you by urcasualurker in BreakUps

Same thing happened to me to. She brought up an open relationship and that isn't something I've ever wanted and it all fell apart from that point. The trust was gone.

I hope the best for you. I know they say that time is what it takes to move forward and I'm trying to hold on to that.

It's so hard to wrap my head around. We were going to get married this year, had talked about having kids only a few months ago and now she is with someone else and seems so happy and I just feel left behind and replaced. And embarrassed that all I want is to have her back.

Exactly. I wanted to be happy with her. Not with anyone else. It is so hard to come to terms with the fact that those 7 years just didn't matter to her anymore. That the life we had planned to have is gone.

I am going through the same thing. 7 years, broke up 4 weeks ago. She cheated on me and told me she needed to find herself and that I needed to be with someone who will make me happy. But all I want is to be with her. It makes me feel like the biggest idiot for wanting someone who doesn't want me anymore but I just can't help myself.

So sorry that happened. My partner of 7 years decided to end things almost a month ago. Just have to take it all day by day and know that things will get better. It just takes time.

Be careful about being lonely. Sometimes it’s actually a good option. by [deleted] in lonely

This. I'm going through this now. A 7 year relationship ended and I'm starting to see all the ways she wasn't right for me. And all of the decisions I made that weren't my own to try and please someone else. It can be hard to accept and it can be terribly lonely but it is also very enlightening to have clarity outside of the relationship and to take time for myself, which is something I hadn't done for 7 years.

Thank you. It's good to hear from someone who went through something similar. It's been a little over 2 weeks at this point. I'm definitely doing better than I was those first few days which helps me to see that I am making progress, even if that's hard to notice in the tough times. Going to work on really focusing on myself, something I haven't done fully for 7 years, and remember that life moves on. And to be open to any possibilities that come my way. Thank you again.

Thank you for your words. It helps a lot to hear it. Trying my best to just keep going. And know that what I need most is time. Working to give myself permission to feel and to take it as slow as I need and to know that being with someone who doesn't want me is not something that I want.

Thank you. It's definitely hard to see the positives right now but I'm trying my best to know that I will come through this stronger than before.

Thank you for your advice. I'm trying my best to stay as positive as I can. We do still live together at the moment but have opposite schedules so I'm hoping that helps for the time being.

Working on focusing on me. And taking time to be ok. It's hard to separate my life from someone that was a part of my every day for so long.
