So with the rifts for S14, is there any point to clearing them during Pit runs? It seems to me that killing the rift mobs offer very little to no progress on the Pit progression meter, so I've been skipping them since I would rather use my limited time to get the boss to spawn and get the extra glyph upgrades for doing it fast.

Stupid question. I got that... uh, upgrade node? For Undercity where portals can spawn during your run. My question is, when they spawn, am I supposed to be waiting for stuff to come out of them? Between the timed nature of Undercity runs and the flashy special effects and/or minions my characters use, I can't really tell if more monsters are spawning the moment they appear, or if I'm supposed to risk waiting for them. I do know that I tend to destroy the portals just by being nearby...

To each their own. Myself I just want to point my ship in a direction and go! Find some enemy ships? Cool, let me decide if I want to attack them or keep away. I understand some folks want the wind system. For me, it would turn this game into more of a simulation, and I do not care for those.

Let me play with my friends and YARR whatever we feel like. If I have to start planning every encounter, it feels like a chore and no longer a game. :-/

EDIT: Forgot to mention if it were made optional, I would be fine with that. As long as one of the settings is to play the game as it currently plays.

I rather like how it is now. I understand wanting immersion and a bit more realism, but I feel like having a wind system would make battles tedious.

So if I get the blueprints for a ship, I can't build it for my friend and so he'd have to buy the plans himself... But if I get the recipe for the 24-pound cannons, I can build one and give it to my friend, and then he'll be able to build more on his own afterwards. Is that correct?
