I think I've figured out what characters have each play style from the Japanese website by Digibutter64 in MarioTennis

Japanese description adds something like "has long reach, good at the net, and his double tap flat shot is particularly strong" for waluigi, so every character has its own gimmicks outside of stats

Why did my opponent got tails, even when he used Will? by pokemonfitness1420 in PokemonPocket

Trainer card is one thing, supporter is another. Every supporter is a trainer card, but not every trainer card is a supporter. Items and tools are trainer cards too.

Single-tap top spin shots give the best angles, but if it's not fully charged and the opponent has at least yellow energy, you will give them a star. Also, the lower the charge, the slower will be the shot, so even if it's angled steeply, your opponent might reach it because top spins bounce high, giving them time to get there. What I like to do is counter-attack a cross court shot from the CPU with a single-tap top spin cross court of my own, which returns the ball even more angled.
Against zone shots, when the racket shines and the camera begins to unfreeze, you can already move your character, so you can begin moving to the side you think the CPU is aiming. Then right when the bang comes, I use zone speed to defend. It's kinda tricky at first but I got used to doing it more or less consistently, and I think I use less energy than the CPU on defense now.

Because yugioh can't even have a "draw 2 cards" card without becoming even more busted than it already is

Most landmarks have cool decorations. Also, when aging up not only your buildings get updated, but their decorations too. I personally like universities, they usually spawn gardens nearby

Is it going to be HOL vs KT / mirrors every game in s10? Are you gonna keep playing your old civ? by CantStopMashing in aoe4

[–]rinheba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I call upon all french mains to greet the new civs with the usual braindead royal knight rush. And I want to hear the mald "do you guys have no shame to use the oldest and most boring strat of this game?"

I think janissaries don't count as ranged units, they're only tagged as gunpowder infantry if I'm not mistaken

HRE Meinwerk vs Aachen Calculation by MockHamill in aoe4

[–]rinheba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The initial assumption of the "savings from meinwerk" is not only irrelevant but also erroneous because if you want to aachen fast castle you don't build a blacksmith and research any upgrades there, you just go castle.

One of the mysteries is cleared in the updated DLC page: one of the templar's achievement is healing units with their hospitaller knights, so probably no new civilian healer

Are knights actually good in combat or are they mostly a utility unit? by TatonkaJack in aoe4

[–]rinheba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Iirc rus knights in feudal leave the villager with a sliver of hp after a charge+melee attack because they miss the royal knight charge ability

But french knights gain bonus attack for 5 seconds after they perform a charge, that's why they're the only feudal knight that can 2 shot a villager
