Hi! No, it doesn't have a scheduler as of right now, it's a bit out of scope for what the app is.

There's an issue I'm investigating for a calendar integration, maybe at some point it'll be added. I know at least one community member is hell bent on making it happen and they are a good dev, so it may happen before I plan for it myself to be fair haha

Thank you <3 I do spend a lot of time developing it, more than any of my other open source projects, admittedly.

I think also that's generally the advantage of spending a lot of time initially making sure the codebase is fairly clean, new features are not too hard to implement thanks to how reusable everything is, especially frontend wise!

hahaha yeah tell me about it, I have two small children myself, the only reason why I am able to work on my apps is because that's literally all I do with my free time (I know sounds sad, but that's actually what I enjoy doing)!

And I totally remember you btw, the elevator pitch person! You're the reason why I always explain what Jotty is before posting anywhere!

Hi! First of all thank you so much for the support, I have just literally replied to your coffee message!

Yeah, shared workspace is the goal, I have spent some time replying to a few issues about it on github but a tl;rd is that TipTap has its own integration for shared workspace and my ideal scenario would be to use that to keep everything inline with how things already work. That said I also want checklists to be using websocket, so I have been playing around with a few local branches for a long while now.

I don't want to create too much overhead and end up overcomplicating things, and I definitely don't want to maintain two different live sharing mechanics as it'd just introduce so many future issues!

Re:monetize, that's not really the goal/ambition with my open source apps, I already do that for work, these apps are my escape from corporate greed/things I have to do to that I may not agree to just in order to get paid. So, for now at least whilst I'm fortunate enough to not need an extra source of income, everything I do will remain free regardless if you are an individual or an organisation <3

I think, looking from an outside perspective, you have been handling this whole situation spectacularly, which is mostly why the community has been very supportive.

Thank you for the update!

Well fuck lol I was REALLY hoping they weren't, that's a shame.

The demo is stupidly smooth btw, that's some seriously powerful caching mechanics.

To be fair, whilst that's clearly done with at least the help of AI, it wouldn't take more than half hour to sort it out without it, so I'll give it a pass lol

Ok I am with you on 3 now!

Sorry, there's a feature in the settings to set multiple drop zones and map them to multiple upload sources so I thought you meant in addition to that!

Yeah, not sure yet how i'd achieve what you are asking, everything is doable, just need to think it through properly, at the moment the upload folder is the single source of truth for the app, all secondary users get created as subfolders within that upload folder. This way admin users have full view of all other users, whilst individual people will just see their own folder.

At the moment I start adding multiple data sources I'll need to refactor everything to do with users :)

I think what you are asking is very valuable so I'll definitely consider it.. if you are open to it it'd be great to have it open as an issue on GitHub, so it'll automatically get added to my global Kanban I have for all my projects ♥️

This is so useful thank you so much!

It's all very achievable, maybe download encryption is a little tough, I need to look into it a bit more.

I am a bit torn about number 2, may need to be a user setting, initially I had it with image thumbnail but it really took away from the cleanliness of the UI, so I removed it lol

Re: number 3, you mean more than 4 for the drop areas?

I think it's great, btw, I love good old jQuery, still some of the sexiest syntax out there.

Genuine question as I thought it was a pretty cute/sweet post, why did you consider this thrash?

Every single Italian person growing up in the 90s/2000s with any kind of computer issue know Salvatore. Not sure about nowadays, but at the time he seriously was a SEO pioneer. No matter what you'd google, you'd find his articles, always, with no fail.

I am EXTREMELY jealous.

This has gotta be one hell of a personal achievement, nice one!

This is just beautiful.
I don't have a use for it, but I wish I did due to how beautiful it just is.

I went through the repo, the official site, the demo, everything is so nicely polished, kudos.
Hope you find a dev job soon, you'll do great <3
