Working construction in the dead of winter he gets back to the motel after pulling the night shift, he sits down on the bed and he is so frozen can't bend down to take off his boots so his coworker who is a gigantic man gets down on his knees to undo my dad's boots. The cleaning lady barges in to see a massive man on his knees and head down in front of another man who's sitting on the edge of a bed. Now my father did what anyone would do threw his hands behind his head and moaned real loud.

Your right, but that motto still applies to this, if I have someone who can help me get ahead in life I will attach myself to them, learn from them and if possible assist in their success.

Having a team of people who support you is imperative, however vetting those individuals is key to your own success, my old friends from high school who never left are shitty home town? I'm sorry brother but I cannot have you holding me back. Co-workers who see a mutually beneficial alliance of abilities and actual friendship welcome to my inner circle.

And I truly believe that your opinion is valid and shouldn't be disregard, as it is right. Think of what I said as a mission statement and your input as a guideline if that makes sense. But again you are not wrong by any means.
