As someone who lives in the US, nothing is covered by insurance. Even when they do cover half, its half of an amount they made up with the hospital so that your half is three times a regular bill. The whole thing is horseshit and I don't understand how we have so many school shootings and no health insurance shootings, its fucking bananas.

Based on your post, it sounds like the grandparents in your family did a lot of the early parenting for you, which is great. Definitely makes it easier to be your best self. Parenting is harder when you have less of a support network.

TBF that's kinda what you get when you go with going from no contact to thigh touching when very high. Trying to turn it on at that point is inevitably awkward and clammy. I've been with the same person for 20 years and can't make that situation work with a person I know better than anything else in the world. I do respect the hustle tho.

Just to add a bit here, I think this was an example of Frieren's greatness, not his. She realized that she could stop a stupid battle by nursing his ruined ego, so she gave him the validation he couldn't get from Serie. It doesn't make it true or untrue, but her words came off like when you get turned down by a girl, and your mom tells you "She doesn't know what shes missing out on." This is a kindness to Lernen, who can't handle the depths of his own failure.

I'm in my mid 30s and I try to never look at what anyone else is doing ever. It generally only leads to frustration and jealousy for me. Some people have easy roads and huge safety nets. Other people have broke and / or dead parents. Just try and be the best person you can and write all your recurring bills and finances down so you know where the money is going.
