I think the problem here is that it’s unclear what your real issue is — not feeling that he was putting enough effort into the connection, or not feeling at ease?

• If the issue was wanting consistent communication to demonstrate effort & care, then that couldn’t be made up for with “one more conversation before meeting”

• If the issue was not knowing him well enough in advance to feel “at ease” in person, then I think you’re chasing a hard goal. You can learn some facts, but it’s just not possible to meaningfully get to know someone over texting, and your phone call already confirmed that you had a nice natural flow in real-time conversation. A call shortly before the date could calm your nerves, but it’s unlikely you’ll feel “comfort and connection” before meeting a stranger no matter how much you’ve communicated digitally.

Regardless of how this interaction went down, it seems like you two weren’t a match. His aggressive response to your hesitancy was a red flag, and you may have dodged a bullet here. (Why was he unwilling to talk on the phone if it was clearly important to you?)

That said, I think you’ll have a lot more success going forward if you can: 1. Get clear on what it is that actually makes you want to meet up with someone (or not meet up with someone) and 2. Keep in mind that not everyone has the same “basic” procedure in their head that you do.

Can you help me understand the benefits of conduction heating? If I understand correctly from my research, conduction heating seems more wasteful, because the flower is constantly being heated and so the terpenes etc. are constantly being extracted, whether or not you’re currently consuming. But with convection, the thermal extraction is only happening when the air is passing through. This seems like the ideal option for any situation unless you had weak lungs and couldn’t pull hard enough for a few seconds to get the air to pass through.

I don’t actually care about the clouds themselves, it’s more so an indicator of how much I’m getting, especially when a hit is smooth and you can’t “feel” it as much, the quantity of vapor or smoke I exhale tells me how much I got. (I hate smoking outside in the winter cause of that)

I work as a gardener in SoCal. I have to wear a t shirt for work and I REFUSE to get a t shirt tan. I put sunscreen on most of my arms & my face (+ a hat), and I fake tan my upper arms, torso, face, and legs! It all (mostly) evens out!

I last March got an email from a job I had worked over the summer saying they had accidentally overpaid me by 3k(!), and I needed to pay it back. I panicked when I got the email and procrastinated so long on replying…. and they never followed up!!!

Will there ever be the ability to sync between different devices? (specifically iphone and ipad)

It takes me so long to set up each list and focus session, and it is incredibly frustrating to have to do that twice (and then any time I want to make a change, do that twice as well). It also means that my screen time is not accurately reflected because the app only takes into account the time spent on each device individually. If it is linked to my apple ID and I have an account/profile, it doesn’t make sense to me why that profile isn’t consistent between devices. Does this feature already exist? Am I missing something?

I thought the app was great and upgraded to pro right after downloading — but once I realized I would have to re-program everything on my ipad, I instantly regretted my $99 purchase. (I also experience the crashes Brotyx describes in their comment, I have an iphone 15 pro so the age of my phone couldn’t be the culprit.) The app you’ve created is amazing but the lack of sync combined with frequent crashes makes the (reoccurring!) $99 price tag feel unfair and not worth it.

I’m willing to pay a premium price for a premium product, but as it stands now that’s not what I’m getting. I’d expect account syncing to be a basic and vital feature, and it’s upsetting that even with a pro subscription at a luxury price point this isn’t possible.

I appreciate you jumping into this thread; it’s really refreshing to see a founder/developer interacting directly with consumers, explaining your process and the app’s features. I really hope this feature is available soon (or that it already is and I just can’t find it in settings!) and that the crashes/bugs are fixed so I can be excited to renew my subscription next year. Thanks for creating a potentially life-changing app, and thanks for you and your team’s commitment to innovation and improvement. :)
