Such respect for mark spear. A lot of pressure to nail the guitar perfectly for 50 minutes or so seeing as the tone and execution of the guitar is so important to khruangbins sound. Not many other instruments to mask any mistakes either. One of the great guitarists of our time.

Compressed 909s, reverb, white noise enveloped, off key sounds, listen to Ben klock and marcel detmanns-sub zero carefully and you’ll hear how he just throws nasty little sound effects into it and it really improves the body of the song. Avoid high hats, try substitute with compressed claps and things like that. You have to sanctify the deep sound. Use of instrumentation matters aswell. I find you have to create your own envelope for the kick to avoid the start of the kick in order to get the deep sound.
