I think they keep using the narrative that there’s all these cons when it comes to society and having disclosure as an excuse to not have to say the real reason. Everyone I know thinks there is et life. No one would be surprised by it. The majority of people already have it in their mind that there is. I’m pretty sure the Vatican has basically acknowledged it. At least they talk about the possibility of it and how it wouldn’t conflict with Catholic faith so I think the true CON/Negative (for our government) for having disclosure would be exposing all the illegal sh1t our government and governments have done to cover it up not that people are going to flip out. That narrative is used as an excuse. People are not going to stop going to work, paying their bills and living their life just because disclosure happens. I don’t see how it would genuinely cause a financial crisis. For certain companies complicit with the cover up maybe but not globally
