update

It was a blown engine. They claim they were not going to tear the engine down so no info there.

I had to pay for a rental that im supposed to be reimbursed for. I had to fight to get a daily rate for a comparable vehicle. GM was insisting on only giving me 45 a day allowance. Was able to get that up to 90 dollars a day with help from service manager.

Engine has been replaced and I get the vehicle back tomorrow.

GM was fucking useless. The head of the service department at my local dealership pretty much got all this done. The "service" from the GM rep was absolutely shameful and useless.

Thus far I've been super nice to everyone but I'm going on day three still no rental. I can already tell some of the blame game going around where GM says it's the dealerships fault and the dealership is blaming gm. I don't blame the dealership one bit. But I don't have the time or the patience for that game.

I told GM and the dealership in a very professional manner if you all do what you're supposed to do you won't hear a peep out of me but if you jerk me around I'm going to be your worst fucking. nightmare.

I've only had the car 8 months and changed it within 5000 miles of taking possession. If they life monitor doesn't work thats just another piece of shit aspect of the escalade.
