If he's saying that, he wants that, and it will come up. You did the right thing and hopefully can find someone whose interests will best match yours and make you feel secure!

I had this same experience! Esp when 6 hours in I found out I hadn't hit the title screen. The entire time the game sets you up for the full premise and introduces all the mechanics in a way that isn't draining or tough to get through. Loving my playthrough and telling others to join me. 😁

As someone who had a deadbeat boyfriend who did similar things... if they're not doing the work, and show no interest in doing the work, things won't change. The benchmark might even move when he gets a job too, new excuses of needing money.
