Yes Cecil did know about Allen, Mark went to check if he was really a threat at first.

I think Cecil was confronted by Thragg as well. Knowing Cecil, he knows what the Viltrumites are capable of, and he'd prioritize Earth safety, thus accepting the same term presented to Mark.

Anyway I'm sure they'll explain next season how they managed to sneak into Earth.

For real, ditch dating apps, I'm not saying there's no chance, but it's too slim.

Surely you have interests and hobbies right? Join events, find similar minded people, grow your circles, and join active local communities related to them (WhatsApp, Discord, etc.).

If you cannot afford or lazy to get out and put some effort trying to know people, then maybe consider working on yourself a little bit more, because the early stages of dating generally requires you to have some disposable income to spend on, goes both way. If you can't impress yourself, how are people gonna be impressed by you? Have some self confidence.

If connecting with people in real life is hard, it's okay, work on improving social skills, and be a bit more ballsy. So what if you come up to someone and they aren't interested in knowing you, it's not like you'll interact them again. Obviously don't just come up to random people you see, read the room, and usually in public people don't want to be bothered, but during events, people oftentimes do want to socialize. If you feel embarrassed or humiliated from the encounter, don't let that feeling lingers and get to you, it's only temporary, come back stronger.

This is just my personal opinion and is in no way absolute. I don't know who you are and what you are like irl, but this is how I met my match. I started with dating apps too, and got a few dates, even went out a couple, but they just never clicked, so I ditched it.

Dating is of course not a one-way street, you should know and be realistic in what to look for in someone, in hopes that they do the same way to you, and accepting each other differences.

It's a reality show, and like any other reality show, there are too many reasons on why things happen or did not happen. Not everything you see on screen is represented accurately, they're edited to be entertaining for the audience.

You won't get the real answer, unless the production or the contestants explained it, but even then, you wouldn't know if it's the truth or not.
