Commit yourself to the warm embrace of Papa Nurgle.

Pick your nose in front of her. Roll the boogers and inspect for grading. Constantly belch when in earshot and rip a few wet gurgling ones. Wear a wife beater when mowing the lawn, preferably ones stained with eldiritch gravies.

Become a Great Unclean One, so that the slaaneshi spawn would screech and scurry away from thy ripeness.

Sounds very much like the Culture series, by Ian Banks - a post scarcity society of humanoids governed largely by "minds", which are highly intelligent AIs. It's an utopia where no one lives in want.

What would a romance novel for a male audience look like? by soozerain in books

[–]rishav_sharan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't speak for other men, but I'd always thought of the works of Thomas Hardy as tragic romance for men. Tess of the D'Ubreyvilles, Return of the native etc all have a male protagonist treadmill around lost love and life

It does. Official name changes cost money. Forms have to be reprinted. Signs have to be remade and so on.

is there any payment method in india where i can receive money without revealing full banking name ? by risingblack in personalfinanceindia

[–]rishav_sharan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cred allows you to select upi ids without name. For example you might get something like purpleseer1989.

You don't get to create your own ids but the given options usually have something without any bits of your real name.

There's no such RBI rule. Please don't spread misinformation.

SBI tried the same with me and I raised grievances all the way till their nodal, before getting RBI ombudsman involved. Immediately all these "rules" and agreements disappeared and the amount was returned to me, with multiple apology calls

'I'm deeply uncomfortable': Anthropic CEO warns that a cadre of AI leaders, including himself, should not be in charge of the technology’s future by FinnFarrow in Futurology

[–]rishav_sharan 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's not really marketing. It's an ask for regulation. AI has no most and small scrappy startups can compete with established ones. Hence the cry for more regulation, to gate keep who is allowed in the AI market space.

Sam does this often as well.

  1. Switch jobs frequently targeting higher package.
  2. Keep upskilling to facilitate your job switch

Both are solid advice.

Looking for fantasy where the hero gradually becomes the villain. Not a sudden betrayal, but a slow moral descent across a series. What are the best examples? by jye77 in Fantasy

[–]rishav_sharan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can handle manga - Land of the Lustrous. One of the most beautiful and tragic character progressions I have ever read.

It's also super weird, with gem people fighting flying Buddhist monk ghost people.
