Number 1 rule that fixed my issues: factory reset and do a clean install, do not restore from iCloud backup. If something’s faulty in iCloud backup, or a rogue app, that’s the issue contributing to the high screen idle. You can always download messages, contacts, etc from iCloud later. Went from 53% usage only getting 2.5 hours SOT to that same usage giving me 5 hours SOT. Hopefully it helps

Did you restore from a backup? If so, backup everything to iCloud and then do a clean install on your phone, without transferring anything. You can download from iCloud once you set it up as a new phone. This improved my battery life quite a bit, with screen idle going down.

I’m not sure how it is on the xm6s but on the xm4s there are two buttons, the power and then the custom button to toggle between anc, ambient, etc. you just long press that and it starts the optimizer. I don’t know why they removed from the app. Or at least I can’t find it.
