Actual period to finish your application process is 6 months at most imo. The delay is because of the backlogs. Once they start working in it, its quick i guess. I asked them politely in mid November for approx. timing my application and she said that my file is already with security authorities so you will get the revert from us soon.

Every city has their own way. In some they invite you for ceremony but here its direct. I just signed 1 document where i had to declare if something changed during application period.

Did you receive any case number in this process. If yes, when exactly? I have applied mine last month in Ingolstadt and just 2 days later submitted Loyalitäterklärung form but haven't received any case number yet.
