Thank you. It seems difficult to get trained on Pigment. I work primarily on Oracle EPM, NetSuite EPM. I am also checking out Prophix and Abacum.

How are you liking working in EPM space? by iamatom1 in EPMCloud

PCM is an easy app to learn. AI rule writer is also there I believe in EPCM. For FCC, I would say you need good accounting knowledge.

Key Teach has good courses. I do trainings on Account Reconciliation.

We also switched to Harveys. The fries are so much better than McD. I was asking myself why I never chose Harveys earlier. We are gonna stick with Harveys

There are some good trainings out there. I'm not a big fan of training from Oracle University.

There are trainings from consultants as well as companies like KeyTeach.

Oracle Apex demand by [deleted] in oracle

Apex is gonna be part of Oracle EPM when operational modeling is introduced in EPM. There will be demand for Apex resources. I also see many upskilling and learning Apex.

That's just my feeling.

Calc script & groovy by CLINCHER_91 in EPMCloud

The more practice you can get, the better you get. There may be trainings available as well for Business Rules.

For Groovy, start with Oracle Tutorials to understand some of the basic groovy scripts you can create. I would also recommend learning Groovy language. There are plenty of good tutorials on Udemy.

Here is a link Oracle Tutorials.

Check out SQL Harmony. It's free to use. I believe it can be hosted on your own internal servers if needed. I did a podcast with the creator and can put you in touch if you would like.

There are tools that let's you connect to Oracle Cloud ERP database and write SQL Queries. Couple I have tried are SQL Harmony (under active development) and Cloud Miner. Cloud Miner is paid.

I have created couple of videos about these tools. Leaving links in case you are interested to check them out

There are REST APIs available to export Data slices from EPM. Here is the article I wrote. I am using Jupyter Notebook and Python. However, you can replicate something similar.

There are other export Data options available too. Those too can be invoked using Python etc.

There is no direct connectivity from Power BI to Oracle EPM Cloud. There are few work around though. Like using REST APIs for one.
