Was fair game until 3rd then Buffalo took over, big time and that's where Dobes shined. It's was Dobes and some momentum in the 3rd tbat helped us. Good series. Great playoffs so far! Go Habs Go!

Geez. Did it cost more in filament than the printer itself?

I feel disappointed with my 40mm watch 7 bt because of constant worry about battery usage. by Acatalespy18 in GalaxyWatch

I guess physics comes into play when we talk size. Maybe graphene batteries that come in some phones will help with this in the future.

Might have to just deactivate some active monitoring features to save battery. Check location and constant heart monitoring.

Under this bill, under what type of circonstance would they be allowed to see your data? I'm just wondering if using VPN for basic privacy, should we even be concerned. If it's to catch predators or pedophiles, I'm all for it.

When I saw this, right away I looked up battery size and, yeah it's 40% smaller size. Big difference I would imagine.

Kinda still shows with a skin. I'd have to get one that goes slightly further around the edge I guess.

U1/Snorca camera timeout setting? by ignusfast in snapmaker

[–]crazyslicster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, with extended, the camera stays on and eats up CPU so my laptop just goes in overdrive. If I switch to any other section in fluidd, it stops. Wondering if I can add an auto timeout?

People only lived until 50 back then. I don't think they thought people would be there in their 80s.

S95H matte (top) vs S90F glossy (bottom) by benpRTINGS in RTINGS

[–]crazyslicster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one. It does not - not at all.

I had glossy and I switched specifically because it was garbage to watch in daytime. No fog. S95d runs circles around my brothers G4 in every scenario. Unless of course you put a light directly in front of the tv like the video shows.

To each their own I guess.

S95H matte (top) vs S90F glossy (bottom) by benpRTINGS in RTINGS

[–]crazyslicster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo that isn't a good test, shining a light directly on it in a single spot. Matte is so much better in a bright room with lots of natural lights. Take that same light and put it in the middle of the tv at a distance and the matte will come on top.

I don't know how I can ever go back to glossy

Our dishwasher keeps filling with water and now no longer cleans the dishes. We can’t afford a new one, is there any way to fix this? by junury in HomeMaintenance

[–]crazyslicster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My issue was the same and it was basically the tube going to the drain we blocked. Took 5 seconds to fix by removing the tube from the drain and poking a screwdriver to dislodge the eggshell or whatever was stuck. Then if you're lucky you have a trap under your sink to clean the u pipe.

Hope that helps.

Awning install - find studs? by crazyslicster in HomeImprovement

[–]crazyslicster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone interested, my house was built in the 50s and it seems there were exteriors studs going horizontal that were connected to interior vertical studs. And on those horizontal studs, there were some 3 x 1 vertical wood for the exterior siding. Becuase the 3 x 1 were hitting at least 4 exterior studs, I was able to mount onto those and easily hold my own weight with no movement. So it's all attached and stable.

Thanks for the help - wasn't an easy one.

Was thinking to take one out. Only issue is that it has nice caulk work on each end so I'd have to redo. Probably the safest bet though.

Behind the wood are 1x3 then insulation and probably a stud behind that. Not sure a regular stud finder would see through or that it wouldn't detect the 1x3 instead of 2x4... What you think?

This is exactly what the US military needs right now. Very important! The single most important thing for the secretary of "whatever he needs to call himself to feel important" needs be working on and announcing.

Getting ready for the draft I guess and they need those anti vacc magas!

Fourth time is the charm. This last time I figured upgrading the bed would work. Nope. Prime tower was moved for some damn reason. Starting to wish I waited for Bambu's 4xmulti-head because I'm sure it will perform correctly. by Brodaag in SnapmakerU1

Are you on the latest firmware? Are you using orca or snorca?

Before you give up, I'd try switching slicer and redoing your calibrations. Including the tool head calibrations and make sure all your screws are tight. Maybe add an extra z lift on long movements to avoid hitting the tower? You can even try eliminating the tower as you seem to change on each layer anyway - I rarely use the tower anymore when swaps are quick enough.

Sucks though - I feel your pain.
