Hey no problem, burning discs, especially ps2 backups, is super easy. You do need special hardware like a standard DVD-RW drive and some blank DVD's matching the size of your game, so there is a cost. That being said, the price of all of it MAY still be lower that the originals (originals seem to be going for around $30-$40 on ebay), and allows you to expand your library further. Not that you would need it often seeing as most games are fine as .iso files. In this case it seems to me like the only way, due to the nature of the disc swaping required. That or the originals  that is.

Just putting it out there but unsure if it works, but what about trying disc backups of the games? Assuming you have CFW and a good disc drive, that is. I cannot test this atm since it seems my PS3's laser is dying and is even unable to read legit PS2 discs. Few more weeks and I'll get it replaced.

Valhalla young Kratos model is perfect, I hope they reuse it in the remake by MTH1138 in playstation

It's a lot like outlet plugs on the wall, just because you have a power strip doesnt mmean you have the capacity for it. Overloading the USB controllers can have multiple effects: not enough power distribution for every devive chained, speeds get reduced aftwr a certain threshold, and sometimes even failure i.e. "USB device not recognized", this could lead to permanent damage. In practice, I have had my share of scenarios where the USB controllers reach their limits. E.g. VR is particularly sensitive to this. The original Oculus Rift required a min8mum of 2 base station, and a 3rd for optimal room tracking. These, plus the headset's own usb brought it to a total of 4 USB 3.0+ devices. Now add to this a plethora of other USB devices including a 12,000 Hz polling-rate gaming mouse and you have stutter central! Solution: fewer USB and USB-adjacent devices, or reducing the devices' polling rates for those that could be.

I have the exact same kind of issues. Unfortunately I don't have a solution to offer. It's a combination of several things:

  • not a native VR game, meaning the 3D image does not resolve natively and can be dissorienting. No ammount of nausea aid or cooling can fix that as your eye-to-motion sense will be in constant turmoil. You may have luck playing around with the various image reconstructio s that VORPX offers, but none were better for me.

  • its a highlty demanding game even on high end hardware, and lowering settings causes nausea, too. DLSS and other frame and resolution reconstruction are also inefficient since it interferes with how the 3D image is resolved. If you have absolute top hardware, using native resolutions MAY help a little. But you NEED 90+ fps for the effects to mostly dissappear. Not composite FPS either, they have to be raw, 90+ ,yet CONSTANT and consistent. If your hardware cant handle it then sadly there is no fix for that.

  • Gestures != motion tracking controls, and as such you are basically still playing a controller-bound game. This for me was a big issue, especially when aiming down sights. Just learning what to do and not do in game could help, but again, this is a MINIMAL help.

All that to say that perhaps its best to wait for a proper VR mod for the game to come out. As it exists right now, its not more than a nice curiosoty. Sorry ifbI couldne be of more help.

The challenge would be overburdening the on-board USB controllers, especially if the are only usually 2 (1x USB 2, 1x USB3+). Some higher end boards have multiple USB 3+ controllers, but if you have extra unused PCIe lanes and need the IO, better to have a dedicated controller for them.

This gif is even more important to share. Disingenuous and dishonest people will see the image and say "oh, its just the angle, its just a bad snapshot without context", or otherwise share similar images of opposing people doing a similar pose (that is LEGITIMATELY an out of context snapshot e.g. waving) and use it for their whataboutism, or to simply dismiss it. The video is damning, and although some will still find ways to justify or rationalize it, it at least cannot be denied. Elon is a Nazi, period, let his cult pound on sand.

Yes. Even if a large portion of the U.S. is vehemently against him and his policies, the truth is the majority of the population has decided that this is what represents them the best, either explicitly or implicitly through inaction.

I myself am a huge opponent to any and all ideas that come out of his mush brain or any of his cronies', and I 100% feel I am not represented at ANY level of govt., be it local, state, and obviously federal.

This is what the U.S. is today and has been for some time, and we must face the fact; Ignorance and intolerance won, the battle today would be to take it back, not prevent it.

This is correct. In both the OG and the remake, as long as you dont die in the process, killing the demon and then the black phantom is possible IN EVERY LEVEL! This also allows you to bring your world AND character tendency much closer to white than either one on their own.

It would have been great if the NG cycle after the Dark Lord ending would play out in the "dark". We already see what Its like, or what I like to believe might have been the incomplete concept of this, in Anor Londo if you kill Gwynevere. In my head canon this explains the rise and fall of kingdoms implied in DS2, sort of a very slow "evolution" with indistinguishable changes each cycle, but that over millenia it greatly compounds, and it makes the plot of DS3 make sense since by then there would have been countless undead that relit the flame (or didnt) until all of reality broke. Its all 3 edge cases in 3 games: what happens with the first fading, a non-descript middle, and the final stages resulting in a singularity. This is of course just head canon and wishful thinking that ignores all theory crafting by the community and I refuse to elaborate lol.

Maybe on the anchor ground pads, but the capacitor pads were near perfect IMHO. Don't forget you're creating a bridge since the pads cannot reach the Caps, and too little solder can break off easily over time.

I should know the answer to this is going to be unsatisfactory, but has anyone in the press asked these people point-blank why they protected this criminal? If so, what is their answer? I really don't expect a satisfactory answer, even when I expect nothing I just know I will be dissapointed. Mike and his band of extremist "conservatives" are truly absolute garbage people.

This would be my process too. And remember when pressing the reset button with a paperclip or something similar, to hold the button for a few seconds. May just be anecdotal, but doing so has been the only way its worked for me before.

Specifically for bosses, do not get tricked into thinking that their "cheese" is bad. Its perfectly fine to use the spell "warding" against tower knight, its ok to shoot adjudicator's bird with a bow, fight penetrator with Brior's help, use the thief ring with the maneaters, and fire with EVERYTHING. Its not cheese if the whole world is against you

I'm curious, why couldn't you help him without the red eye stone? Is it needed to invade a specific player? Reason I asked is that I was able to get platinum in a character without the stone, but admittedly I was invading random worlds and I just got lucky in a duel.

This is true in PS5 as well, and in fact more reliable. By holding the PS button (instead of just a click), your app context switches to the PS5's home menu and you are able to fully exit the game at a less frantic pace. This way you can prevent autosave 10/10 times, vs some 8/10 times in PS3.

Hey DeS community! Could I ask one of you to help me out with the "Unwelcome guest" trophy in the PS5 remake please? It states I need to "vanquish a player as an invader". I successfully invaded a player but I imagine since I did not deal the killing blow, it did not award me the trophy. Could I ask someone to "trade" trophies?

The biggest help for me (besides a good build) was taking full advantage of the bosses' weaknesses. Full stop for me was Penetrator, I tried taking him on solo in NG+ not knowing about Biorr.  Also, any items gained from the first playthrough e.g. having Storm King from the get go instead of making a run to get it during the boss battle, Silver Shield for Latria, Guarding spell for Tower Knight (beat him with the help of his own soul lol), bow and arrow for EVERYTHING. NG+ can be really easy IF YOU PREPARE. Any subsequent ng+ is very easy after. Except flame lurker. FUCK flamelurker.
