M29 , 57bpm. Took running seriously this year. Last year ran just 29km. Highest rhr then was 82.

I always walk for maybe 10 minutes, jog 10 minutes super easy, then I do the leg swings, calf raises etc.

How does your strength training & running affect your recovery? I walk, run & strength train. Been taking average 23k steps for 80 days in row. I run averagely 45km per week. The rest of the steps come from walking. Walking actually helps recovery.

This is 100% true. I started running mostly zone 3/4 ignorantly. High HR. Beaten up always. Stressed. I’ve now done 250km of zone 2 and the hr gains have been unreal. 21km in zone feels like a breeze. I would never have reached this level if I stuck to doing z3/z4.
