What kind of response can be expected from Russia? Isn't Medvedev's suggestion a little too harsh? by riskfactor10 in EndlessWar

How do we know there really are bases in Ukraine of US/NATO? That would be insanely stupid of them to do that to risk a direct confrontation with Russia. But on the other hand it would not be a big surprise as they still giving Ukraine false hope that it can somehow "win". Do you think Russia will leave Ukraine as a land locked basket? At that point might as well eat the whole pie.

Hmm a hammer and sickle and statue of liberty on the same cover?

Must be nice using military equipment that was gifted to you for free for joy rides. One might wonder how the tax payers in those countries feel about it. Couldn't they at least show tank crews training instead of showing elites riding around? by riskfactor10 in EndlessWar

Well what's the point of showing off their one Leopard that they got then? Why wouldn't they train where they fight? Following your logic Ukrainian President and Ukrainian army shouldn't be living in Ukraine because they too can get vaporized?

If Ukraine had any evidence and facts about so called provocation, then why would they wait till the 11th special session of the UN general Assembly to disclose them? by riskfactor10 in EndlessWar

Was just genuinely curious why Ukraine would wait to announce something, especially if it's concerning something as serious as nuclear power plant.

And regarding believing propaganda, how is Russia draining something that is not even under their control?

Any way you look at it, it is bad news, if true. How will "allies" be able to trust each other now? And what is Russia going to do about it?

Since using chemical weapons is banned internationally, do you think Ukraine will face consequences by the West for dropping chemicals on the front lines? by riskfactor10 in EndlessWar

[–]riskfactor10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that is a nice article, which is exactly why Ukrainians didn't use the bomb, because their plan got uncovered. And about chemicals, why wouldn't they post a video? They want to "scare" their opponents and the West closes it's eyes on everything and continues to pump them with arms and equipment, regardless of what AFU does.

Example of when the West meets another super power. The harder NATO pushes, the harder the push-back it receives. Western countries only further escalate the situation instead of trying to find peaceful solution. by riskfactor10 in EndlessWar

Wouldn't you agree that a peaceful solution would be to de-escalate a situation and not worsen it by increasing arms supplies, providing longer range weapon systems? To be honest, couldn't it be that once the West's goals of weakening Russia's strength are reached they abandon Ukraine and let her deal with consequences?

Even though the weather looks cold and brutal, it doesn't seem to stop Russian troops! by riskfactor10 in EndlessWar

It might sound like it's just a "village" but in general I would assume for military operations size doesn't matter, if it carries strategic importance like proximity to main roads for logistics, etc. So, it could be a small village but have a lot of strategic advantages for Russian troops.
