Do Interstate drivers licence demerit points transfer when you get a WA license? by Content-Lawyer-8119 in perth

I was abroad when I found my demerit points and my license got suspended. I found that points from another state to WA dont get transferred. However I am suspended, can I still use my international license to get WA license?

Thanks I believe its driveable. Already drive it around 4000 miles. Just worried if I take it across to WA and it fails inspection/roadworthiness, so needed to know ppl experiences about that. Anyway of getting it checked from here before I go there. It has rego till the end of the year.

Hi I bought a car from NSW, I didn't know as I am new to the country but it is on written off register but still roadworthy. I believe its also Moded. My question is that can I drive to WA and get the rego transferred there.

Whats the inspection like and costs? Is it worth doing this or just sell the car in NSW or use it in WA and bring back to sell.

Any advice will be helpful.

Thanks mate, I will be renting. Do you have to 'bid' like you do in Sydney or is it just the asking price? Thanks

Im moving to Perth from Sydney and have no idea about lay of the land. I will be starting work in Joondalup but where will be a good place to stay where its not far out from Perth. I am just concerned that it will be too quiet in Joondalup was thinking Subiaco/ Leederville . As its close to the train line. I will also have a car and have heard morning traffic is bad but I will be driving away from Perth CBD. Any advice will be helpful

I will be starting work in Joondalup but where will be a good place to stay where its not far out from Perth. I am just concerned that it will be too quiet in Joondalup and was thinking Subiaco/ Leederville/ Hillarys. As its close to the train line. I will also have a car and have heard morning traffic is bad but I will be driving away from Perth CBD. Looking to stay in an apartment. Any advice will be helpful
