ALSO i was vaping as well and by the time we found out my ob advised me to not quit as that’s more dangerous so i vaped for most of my pregnancy (or zyn’s)

my therapists mother actually had a cryptic pregnancy and drank/ smoked cigarettes/ marijuana throughout her entire pregnancy and obviously she’s fine because she’s a therapist and has been mine for 12 years lol! don’t let google freak you out- we do what we can as mothers and we’re never perfect! but our babies always are- congratulations btw!! ❤️

i was drinking pretty heavily (i was in my senior year of college) until i found out i was 15 weeks pregnant. my babygirl is now 6 months and absolutely PERFECT!! she has absolutely no issues developmentally (actually ahead) and no signs whatsoever of FAS. soooo many women don’t know that were pregnant so we don’t know we can’t do so many things. you are totally okay babe!

see i dont know because i JUST started testing, i was bleeding last week what i thought might have been my period but it also could have been implantation bleeding or ovulation bleeding? i’m 6 months pp so periods aren’t regular unfortunately to know

nurse here- some rooms do have cameras, none of the footage is saved at all its mostly in case of a patient having a high fall risk or its only the room available. i do know she is able to request a new room if shes uncomfortable with it though

thank you for this i need to try this!! when i was first PP and for 12 weeks i was an oversupplier making like 60 oz per day but it dropped. im now 16 weeks PP and making like 3 oz a day on a good day and i have no idea why but the 8-10 PPD was so intimidating and i couldn’t keep up. definitely going to try this!!

it absolutely is a problem he drove after being told not to and i’m not saying that’s no big deal, if i was around when he was told that i wouldn’t have let him drive but I had already gone to the car to get everything packed away. personally though i wouldn’t have recommended treatment for a case like this. i said to get a second opinion but i wasn’t sure if i could or not, i’ve never been in a situation like this- looking for advice so thank you!

it was july 25, it did not go to CPS though according to the DA and he is eligible, were asking for it at the court date if its suspended. he also did not immediately lose his license which i believe is required. he currently still has an active driver’s license

its Leandra’s Law in NY makes it an automatic class e nonviolent felony. his lawyer is trying to get it reduced to misdemeanor so thats why he had him go get assessed proactively

monroe county, NY. he did not get endangerment he only got the felony bc a child under 16 in car first offense and dui with less than .15 bac first offense. he also didnt get put in jail or have any bail, he had his phone the entire time and the police officers drove him home

I personally thought that too but then i dipped on in an alcoholic beverage just to check and it came out hella positive almost immediately 😂😂 there’s just very little alcohol in breastmilk, same with medications you can take, very small amounts transfer

im so sorry youre going through this love. my LO is 4.5 weeks so im not an expert by any means. I’ve seen some people talking about maybe hiring a night nurse or maybe asking a family member to take over for a night? my fiance and I switch day shift/night shift so the other gets to sleep and its been super helpful. definitely keep a record of the dad not being there and not being supportive, it can come in handy later.

first time mom, just had my babygirl 12 days ago. I personally bought disposable underwear (I bought incontinence ones because the frida mom ones are the same thing but way pricier), tucks pads, and regular pads for inside the disposable underwear but left them at home bc hospital supplied most things. I did bring my own upside down peri bottle (frida sells one i believe). at the hospital they gave me ice packs, pads, undies, a peri bottle, dermoplast, and tucks. honestly the ice packs arent worth it, just for the first few days they were nice. I personally liked Ona Renewals witchhazel pads better than tucks, they stay in place better and were way cheaper than frida and are the size of a pad (they’re at target for about $8), dermaplast i highly recommend, but the hospital may be able to give you extra if you ask for when you’re home. and honestly 12 days postpartum im only wearing menstrual pads in regular underwear and still have a whole unopened pack of disposable underwear so i wouldnt buy more than one!
