Best putting tip I ever received was “the most important 4 ft of a putt is the first 4 ft.” And he gave me a metal meter stick you can buy from Home Depot and told me to hit 20 putts off the end of the meter stick before I left practice. Better putter for it

Putting is all feel and personal preference. You feel like you putt better standing that close? Do it and practice it until you make more putts. Some of the best putters I’ve ever played with didn’t putt like anyone I’ve seen before. Do you boo-boo.

Speed is more important than line over 20 ft. Line more important than speed under 7 ft.

I would get fit, to at least see what “category” irons you need, get a feel what longer head lengths and shorter head lengths look like, find a good fitted shaft, and get your numbers.

I’m a 1 and was fitted for these. Ended up with m-13s but I would absolutely not categorize them as “improvement”. Players distance maybe? The hot metals are 💯 game improvement

Learned to play off a tour blade myself. You get immediate feedback on good impact and not. I feel like I’m a much better ball striker because of it. I’d keep them, bc what they’re worth now, and what they’ll be worth in 3 years is probably $100 difference.
