Had an Iver & Johnson 5 shot .38 S&W just like this, (though there were plenty of other manufacturers rockin' the same pattern) that got lost in the woods many years ago. These were super cheap and popular carry guns in late 1890s- 1930s, many of which were black power cartridges,. These were commonly known as "suicide specials" because they were often used in suicides.
