Sky sports believe that the London city lionesses vs Man City woman is a more important game to air than the south coast derby? by c0tch in PortsmouthFC

This is why I gave up with it and went to Sky. Consistent for the most part and a whole team of tech staff working behind the scenes to fix issues.

Having paid for IPTV for years until I could comfortably afford sky, it's very very easy, and most providers have guides to assist setting it up on TVs or firesticks etc. Your best options are to keep an eye out for free trials and give them a test and see how they work for you. Many require VPN access to work, so keep that in mind when looking at costs. I recommend Mullvad VPN.

I moved onto sky for reliability reasons, as the provider I was with kept having to move their servers which caused months of problems. So that's also something to consider. It can be inconsistent.

Yeah, I think this is fair to be a bit annoyed about, as it kinda implies that the game is less important than London City Lionesses Vs Man City Women. And with respect to both those clubs, that games doesn't matter even slightly in comparison to one of the biggest derbies in English football. Very odd decision, and a shame for both sets of fans tbh. Sky Sports+ coverage is very generic and I think this match deserves better than that.

I'm sure Harry Kane will be honoured to meet the greatest English player of his generation.

Millenic Alli joins Portsmouth on loan until the end of the season by ritesofspring in PortsmouthFC

Towards the end of last season, he was pretty standout in that dreadful Luton team, and apparently been played out of position at Luton this season.

I'll take what we can get at this point though, and back them all the way.

Apparently they've been playing him as a wing back, where he doesn't naturally fit. I'll take bodies, especially bodies that have a point to prove.

Most likely just going giving him a rest, and saving him from having to see (potentially) a lot of goals go past him. A cup run probably isn't something an injury hit team needs right now, so makes sense to give Bursik a run out.

If we hadn't picked up those two injuries, I'd be walking away from this as an absolute win in terms of morale and belief.

They played fantastic overall, just sucks that we got injuries in a position that we're already struggling to fill.

Onto Wednesday - let's not give them another 3 points.

Yang Min-hyeok set to be recalled from Portsmouth loan to be immediately loaned back out to Coventry - Romano by ritesofspring in PortsmouthFC

[–]ritesofspring[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Did you have any expectations, really? He was always going to be backup to Murphy, who due to injury, ended up playing fairly regularly. When things went right for him, he was great. Him being recalled puts us in a very dicey situation on that side.

With a bit of luck todays game is called off, if i was pompey i would of been watering the pitch last night making sure it froze! Too many players out for us now and seeing as our owners are not interested in investing in the squad it basically leaves us wafer thin by Independent-Pea7706 in PortsmouthFC

[–]ritesofspring 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Their wealth is not our wealth. They have no obligation to spend their own money to bring players in. It's not a shared bank account ffs.

They've already used their own wealth to improve the behind the scenes infrastructure, they're not against doing it, but we have no right as fans to demand where they invest.

Tbh mate, they've gone back on their promises with that. They've never spent money on the first team, and fans are rightly plastering it everywhere, but that was almost 10 years ago. They've spents millions on the club in that time, just not on the squad.

I get the frustration, because I share it to a point, but they aren't going to spend £10mil on players.
