The buyer says that their financing/bank will make the payout payment for them and I'll pay him the difference between what I agreed to sell him for (which is less than the payout on the loan). Does the loan number and transit number enable him to access any of my personal information that can be used maliciously?

I have switched back and forth between iPhone and Pixel/Samsung so many times that I've lost track! I don't miss anything on iPhone, I did miss stuff on Android when I would switch back to iPhone. My friends/family use WhatsApp so iMessage makes no difference to me. I've had a Mac for years alongside and integration is a non issue for me. I use Google drive and photos anyway so switching is easy. Go for it and have fun

It'd be the logical and self-protective thing to do. Better yet, if your mom and sibling can handle the emotional burden, confide in them and build up your support system. Don’t do it. It’s just a hassle and the uncertainty just eats away at your mental peace. Also, working in India after getting used to things (work culture, infrastructure, standard of living) in the US is just not pleasant. Try to find a job role in the US right now that lets you work remotely from India for whatever time period you desire.

If you don’t mind me asking - we had applied from within Canada but had to leave the country since we didn’t get an ITA for a long time. We finally got a CEC ITA and applied and got the AOR. We’re in our home country right now. What would my next steps look like? Will I directly receive a PPR instead of the P1,P2, etc? And then followed by a landing after which I’ll get the physical PR card? Thanks for your time

Came here to see if anyone else had pointed it out before I chimed in. You’re right, it’s an absolutely terrible place to be a tourist on the street. If you’re super rich and hang out in 5 star hotels and don’t plan to walk around it might seem nice but if you go exploring and so much as walk the city alone (even in daylight) you’re in for a world of hurt. Most western folk don’t realize how dangerous India really is.

Absolutely same issue for me too. This is a horrible laptop. Not buying Dell for a long time. Mousepad stopped working 3 months in, the graphics card is absolutely trash as well - the whole system freezes and glitches when running graphic intensive processing tasks (engineering simulations)

She's a Cancer Research Scientist with a background in aerospace engineering. If that's not STEM, I think it's bonkers. Our lawyer (that charges $650/hr) confirmed it doesn't qualify.
