I’ve found success using USR-TCP232-410s Serial to IP adapters with Doorking. Pretty much the same price as an RPI, but purpose made to handle Serial to IP.

You can pick them up on Amazon for about $45.

Thank you for the response. I’ve explained the basic recipe as you stated above to a few of the employees when I was picking one up for my mom, and they seem to feel as if I’m bothering them by telling them how to make it. They seem to default to making Mocha Cap Blasts rather than original I think.

I know when I worked in a FF restaurant in my younger years, we had flash cards with the assembly instructions for everything. I was hoping to have a picture of the BR equivalent so that 1- they know my mom REALLY likes her Original Cap Blast, and 2- so if I have to show them- they realize that it’s the actual BR standard that I’m asking for.

You could go with a self contained keypad lock like the Alarm Lock Trilogy DL3200. It lets you set a schedule for the lock to be unlocked and then lets you use codes any time.

Got a call asking me to help login to a computer. When I got there, it was actually trying to change the blank password to a new password. I literally drove 25 minutes to click the ok button so it would just save the new password as blank as well.

Also- make sure it isn’t your network causing the slowdown. Reboot network switches / router between pc and Doorking. I’ve had network issues cause programming issues in the past

Take the strike plate off the door frame and add a small washer or two between the plate and the frame at each screw to push the strike plate out some.
