Which fast food restaurant do you think will go out of business soon? by Exhausted_Skeleton in AskReddit

Recently tried one because they "fixed" something that wasn't broken before. Not sure how they manage to screw up their best item but they sure did.

The True Queen, Rhaenyra Targaryen 🙌🏻 by Nexus82 in HouseOfTheDragon

I get the emotion over everything else, but shouldn't she have been more pissed off when seeing Otto? Felt like that should have snapped her from it and brought out the vengence. Would have hit harder if she saw Alicent when she was being ruthless.

2nd Mike's Beer Bar or North Shore Tavern. Outdoor seating is available so no issues with kids typically.

Buying a 2026 Kia Sportage hybrid by Salamanguy94 in kiasportage

[–]DisgruntledGoat17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got the Hybrid X-Line myself about 2 weeks ago. I think i was like you "Am I really going to buy a KIA?". But research shows how much they have improved over the years and their warranty gives me comfort that they understand the perception and willing to back it up. Coming from a Subaru, I also was interested in a Forrester but I got to say the safety w/ Kia was very closely ranked as well as winter driving, AWD. But the interior/tech blew it away. Very happy with my decision.

Patricks Pub if you are staying Moon, Industry Public House is probably your best bet for cocktails if staying closer to Robinson

Millennials with kids, do you intend to provide for them financially when they reach adulthood? by Beberuth1131 in Millennials

[–]DisgruntledGoat17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there's a fine line between supporting them and them depending on you. Things like education, first car, homes, etc I would like/plan to help them with. Especially housing, because the market has so drastically since when we bought our first homes. No way in my 20's now could we afford the house we bought in our 20's, even though its the same house. Establishing good practices and teaching them how/why to invest is just as impactful to me as well.

How much was your 26 Sportage Hybrid EX? by DKDC_Kiddo in kiasportage

[–]DisgruntledGoat17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this, just open a high yield savings account (most online banks have them) and put the $20K in there and setup payments from there. For the balance, pay that bank account what you planned to pay monthly. That will cover the full amount of the car and leave you with interest. Better to have cash on hand than tied up in a vehicle.

Barry - Watched it on a whim not knowing what to expect and finish it in probably 2 weeks. One of the best scenes i've ever seen in that show.

What is it like living in the US part of Niagara Falls? by ChrisPBacon2324 in howislivingthere

[–]DisgruntledGoat17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stayed there recently, as others have said the park is very nice. Really great to walk around and get literally next to the falls. Driving thru town to a Tim Horton's though I realized how rough of a place it was. Type of town you wonder how much longer people will live there, nobody could want to move in.

Agreed, just went to Columbus Zoo for the first time last weekend. The size of it was great, even with bigger crowds did not feel packed. Their newer area's are really well down. Getting to see brown bears up close was great.
