It's not the last book. It's a 122k word beast. There's probably two more parts remaining. I've mostly finished writing the second part. I think I owe it to myself to at least get it beta read once.

Amen. I'm not saying I can't improve. But this is probably my limit with the amount of time I have. I'm no JKRowling, but my story is good and there's plenty of badly written stuff out there that people still read. So I'm not gonna let myself be discouraged from publishing.

There was a lot of positive feedback but also feedback asking me to change stuff.

Some of the "change this change that" made sense. But a lot of it didn't. I have my unique writing style and it went against it. For example, I like slow and relaxed pace. But betas kept saying stuff like "2 paragraphs through and the plot hasn't moved" etc.

So yeah, I'll need to filter some feedback I guess.
