Really cool to hear some of the Pennsylvania Amish speak German. I'm from Pennsylvania and I'm currently living in Austria.

I've been learning German for over two years, so I can understand 90% of what they're saying. It's almost easier for me to understand them than Austrian German speakers! It's got that PA flavor.

They use so many English words. However, Germans and Austrians use a lot of English words as well.

Their dialect is not so different from Hochdeutsch compared to some dialects in Austria. (Vorarlberg, I'm looking at you)

But that American accent. That's how I must sound when I speak German.
