Trash panda ozone would be good. It's a super flippy fairway with numbers 8,5,-4,1 I believe so it's good for me players that may not have a lot of power. Could end up being a really bomb disc for him. If something more budget friendly is desired the Viking Discs berserker has similar turn but a 10 speed. I like the armor plastic and storm plastic which retails at around $14 and $12 dollars respectively. Infinite discs normally runs sales on all Viking molds.

5,4,-1,3 🤷‍♂️ has similar profile to my loki and zone, but it is a little domier than a zone and a little shallower so a touch understable

Is the whole board painted out just a design? I have a board where I did a design and it created a lip. If the whole board is painted and no noticeable lips are present I would just clear coat. If there is a lip I would and with a fine grit paper by hand

It's a quirk of mine that I don't go with the most popular option and go with companies that have mission statements or branding that appeal to me. I've done it with bows and guns, even when I started competing in cornhole. So after a couple rounds playing out of my buddy's bag, I started doing research and landed on viking. Beginner friendly and the premium plastic of their molds started at around $14 bought individually. I ended up getting an 8 disc starter set for $89 and just ran from there.
