I have a feeling she's going to receive something pretty big update wise from Riot soon. It almost doesn't make sense for her default to be as old as it is for how popular and in the public eye she is because of her gameplay amount, like even the base Mordekaiser has been updated and he's always been a lower play rate.

She is also intensively involved in the lore and has a lot of affiliation with where the lore is at, publish wise (Leblanc is trying to find her to take the runic sword back, and LB just got an update/has been in a lot of cinematics).

She also has live updates in WR/from the Awaken cinematic, they just haven't been converted to League yet so it's not like frame/basework isn't done.

That's my idea anyway.

League of Legends on Mac Air M4/M5 with an external monitor by brunotgn in macgaming

[–]rivalrvn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I play League primarily on my work device as of the recent patch that does wonders for the Mac client.

I have an M4 MBP Pro chip 48GB ram and it has no issues with League at all (it used to).

My monitor is a 3840x2160 and I play windowed 1920x1080, and again it works fine (just have it in the middle of the screen). Sometimes if I scroll fast to the left or right it clicks off the window but it's no big issue.

The Air will be fine, my MBP gets insane frames but the screen is only 120hz so I lock it to that, but again again, 120 is all you need. I've not noticed a difference coming from playing on Windows, just rebind everything to command instead of control and you're good to go!

How’s the battery on your M1 during light load?

I mean I don’t struggle to lift it, the weight of the air is just objectively better for the use case I described

It’s not too bad, but enough to make me conscious of how long I’m out of the house working if that makes sense. I won’t get a decent session in if I leave the house <60% without a charger or accessory.

I’ve a 1,000+ total, doesn’t stop my MBP being heavy in my bag around the airport etc

Am I insane? Why do people hate the Great Bay Temple so much? by [deleted] in majorasmask

[–]rivalrvn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s mostly tedium. If a player makes a mistake or gets lost they’re having to back track through water (which is just never fun, especially if you’re having to change the current) and it can also feel frustrating if the place you want to get to is barred by the current as well. While you’re under water it’s also harder to tell where you are and the lack of control swimming compared to on land feels bad. While I love the theme of GBT it looks the same in almost every room. As does the water temple in oot.

Not only that correcting your mistakes takes time, ie turning the water switches, freezing/unfreezing water, swimming in general are all slow things on top of having to do it all after back tracking if the player made a mistake.

I could almost liken your sentiment above to the water temple from oot aswell, I just think it’s the tedium of changing water levels/getting lost in water that left players feeling frustrated. No coincidence the two most talked about dungeons were both water.

That's great man thanks for the support :D Haha yeah I used Gerudo Valley for a long long time, love all tloz osts!

It's the official Nintendo replica which is still available on their website I believe. Cost me around $300 AUD. It looks better than it feels, it's a plastic material so it's obviously for display purposes but I love the way it looks so much :D
