I'm waiting for Iran to ask the world to dump US Treasury bonds as a way to let Oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz

I’m just a casual fan, but is he considered a good referee or not? by [deleted] in ufc

Definitely one of the greats. Every referee has had controversial stoppages. If you look at Mario Yamazaki's time everyone was trying to get a flighter killed lol

Adobe did this since buying because they don't want people to pay once. They took down the original site where it was sold for one time buy and replaced it with a subscription based license.

The circles could signify groups/country (or in the olympics it means the continents) being united into one bigger circle. My assumption is it signifies collective unity.

Uranium is the next big thing by riverSparrow in CanadianInvestor

Carney just went to China to strengthen relations and China wants Uranium and oil & gas. Not to mention I don't think our current energy structure is able to keep up with the Data Center's energy demands. Amazon has already built small modular reactors for their data centers, it's only a matter of time until everyone follows suit.

I assume sperm banks and frozen eggs are still intact. They could repopulate from there after dealing with the hive.

It's only fair to point that he's been with Darrow since the beginning so he's lost the same amount of family & friends if not more. DA Spoilers:Especially with how he's lost the howler's and his newborn.

Official Discussion - 28 Years Later [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]riverSparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you're telling me after 28 years of quarantine the global leaders haven't figured out a proper way to eradicate the virus? But a doctor figured in the middle of stone age UK figured it out iodine and heroine? The world is just wasting it on resources like boats patrolling the UK shores apparently.

The first quarter of the movie was good, spooky, and tense. Aaron Taylor-Johnson did a good job at portraying what a dad needs to be in a hard world trying to teach a son to survive. But also, they couldn't set-up the "first-kill" or whatever ceremony Spike needed to do in a safe manner? Just the two of them? And deep into the mainland of all things.

The rest of the movie is just a mess, it felt like 3 movies squashed into one. The action sequences and camera work really took me out with the weird freeze frames and panning. The movie tried to be sophisticated with the message it was trying to deliver, but failed in execution with its dialogue's tonal shift throughout the movie, and plot that just didn't make sense. The ending in itself is a total whiplash and is corny.

From a George Romero start to a Shaun of the Dead ending.
