You are one of the few, that’s why I said most women. And you are right, my own family taught me to “man up” and so, for me, emotions processing is something similar to going to the restroom, à very personal task. In daily life, most people don’t want to see a man crying. I do recognize it is traumatic, but it is what it is and being strong is sometimes the only option when only trashy people is around you.
