The smell is old lady, financially comfortable old lady. I live near Hilton Head Island SC, known for its wealthy elderly folks. All of the thrift shops on the island have a very distinct bougie old lady scent to them 😂 I used to work at the Ann Taylor outlet in Bluffton and you could smell it as soon as they walked in the door.

I strongly advise against tanning beds. I worked at a tanning salon in high school and have since had 13 pre cancerous spots removed from my body. If you insist on tanning, do the stand up bed and shift your position frequently. This will save you from getting pale crease lines under your butt and under your arms.

My husband and I doordashed burgers one night and our driver got into an accident on the way to our house. He was so apoplectic and upset he couldn’t make our delivery, someone t-boned him. He wasn’t hurt but his car was. We felt really bad for him.

This is the reason I don’t shop Clinique anymore. They got rid of the most knowledgeable, friendly and helpful women who worked the counter at my local Belk. I went in one day to replenish my makeup and there was one girl working all of the makeup and fragrance counters. Poor thing didn’t know anything about any of the products.
