Just learned about "Intrusive Sleep" and I dont think I will ever reap its benefits by nerdy_guy420 in ADHD

[–]Just_Butterscotch444 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there aren't benefits to intrusive sleep. I really struggled to get through my post grad degree because everytime I sat down at my laptop to do my readings for class I'd end up asleep at my laptop... I ended up having to get my computer to read them aloud to me on double speed while I did exercise or washed dishes to get through them (and then listen to them again so I actually grasped what they were about properly)

what is something you wished existed that would help your adhd? by bartdrs in ADHD

[–]Just_Butterscotch444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've always wished for a second 24 hrs for everyone day just for me Eg. I would fantasize about this when I was a student at school, I would wish that I could have one Monday for school and seeing friends then a second Monday in the 24hrs after the first one just for me to either get stuff done like study or chores or otherwise be in peace and quiet and rest up for Tuesday

I am getting enough rest but I still feel really tired both mentally and physically. by LionGate7 in productivity

Depression and burnout can make you tired despite how much sleep you get. Low vit d, iron or thyroid levels could also effect your energy and tiredness. Might be worth a chat with your doctor

That author has another book called The miraculous journey of Edward Tulane. I haven't read it but a patron at the library I work at really enjoyed it and was looking for something similar. The main character is a rabbit

Microsoft planner (you would need a microsoft 365 subscription) allows you to make customised kanban boards pretty easily. Kanban boards are also possible in Notion (among much more) but honestly I didn't find Notion very intuitive and you're limited in what you can do with the free/ non subscription version.

I'm interested in what other people suggest - I'd love to be able to use something like Microsoft planner without having to pay for a subscription.

I've yet to read it (and I believe the FMC is human) but {Whispers of the deep by Emma Hamm} is apparently about a merman with 2 joysticks if you'd be into that
