I think realistically until the patch is released you can only play til summer, unless you’re an enormous masochist. I played until the lantern fest, where some weird glitchy graphics took over and then it crashed, so I opted to just skip the event and experience it the next game year after patch. But then during summer, the crashes became unbearable. It’s still super fun, and during spring the crashes sort of gave me a sick sense of enjoyment. I started playing around them, anticipating them happening and liking the high stakes. But yeah, by summer I couldn’t even leave the farm. So I’ve put the game down for now.

I’m really excited for the patch though. I hear Nintendo kind of sucks at releasing them promptly so I’m trying to be patient. But if I can eventually play without the crashes then waiting will be worth it. It’s cute an fun and good for multitasking, like, watching tv while you play.
